Happy Mother’s Day!

Today, we want to take a moment to thank the incredible women who make this team possible—our Phenoms moms. From early morning drives and packed gym bags to cheering the loudest in the stands and providing endless encouragement, you are the heart behind the hustle.

Your support, love, and commitment fuel everything we do. Whether you’re keeping schedules straight, feeding growing athletes, or just being a listening ear after a tough game, your impact goes far beyond the court.

To all the Phenoms families—and especially the moms—we’re so grateful for you. Wishing you a day filled with love, appreciation, and maybe even a quiet moment to yourself (we know those are rare!).

Happy Mother’s Day—you’re the real MVPs.

Our Story

"Growing Talent, Building Families, Winning Together."

In 2007, Coach Chris Moore founded the Florida Phenoms basketball organization with the aim of uniting the top athletes from Naples, Florida, to compete against teams from larger cities like Miami, Orlando, and Tampa. What started as a modest initiative has since evolved into a highly successful program, earning national and state titles from premier youth basketball organizations such as AAU, YBOA, and USSSA.

Today, the Phenoms conduct clinics 4-5 days a week for students in grades 3 through 9. These sessions emphasize the development of fundamental skills and provide players with daily opportunities to enhance their abilities while competing against some of the top talent in the state. Each grade level fields up to three teams, allowing players to begin with a team competing in local tournaments and offering dedicated athletes the chance to advance to the Elite squads that compete across Florida.

Our Mission

The mission of Florida Phenoms Youth Basketball is to inspire boys to reach their academic and athletic potential within a fun and supportive environment. Through collective effort, our goal is to help these young athletes grow into successful, happy, and healthy individuals.

While basketball unites us, it is not our only focus. We emphasize the importance of education, setting high standards for participation in our program. Additionally, we value family and community involvement, encouraging respect for others and a positive impact on the community.
